Description
The SRSV-3009 30 Watt SolaVent Gable Reversible Mounted Solar Fan can convert any existing passive vents into active ventilation, whether it's a new installation or a retrofit for commercial and residential vents, including dormer, box, ridge, and apartment building vents, as well as gables, turbines, pier & beam structures, and mobile homes. This solar attic fan can be mounted on gables to create a tunnel of air in the attic, keeping it cool and prolonging the life of HVAC equipment. It can also transform passive vents into active ones, bringing in fresh air and reducing HVAC costs while maintaining comfort.
The SolaVent™ Ventilation Fan offers multiple benefits without the need for new roof penetrations. It can easily retrofit any existing passive vent and be attached below the roof deck. The reversible airflow allows for both intake and exhaust options, reducing moisture and promoting air exchanges per hour. This not only decreases the risk of mold and mildew, but also lowers HVAC costs and cooling cycles. Additionally, it qualifies for the 26% Federal Credit program for both the unit and installation, and requires no modifications or electric wiring. Its performance is unaffected by adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for any environment.
