HandiFoam® Cylinder Foam polyurethane foam sealants are moisture cured sealants designed to completely fill and seal small gaps, cracks, and voids up to about 3 inches.  These polyurethane foam sealants have excellent adhesion and expansion characteristics ensuring a complete and permanent air tight seal.  This spray foam tank insulation is dispensed through a hose and wand for control and ease of use.

HandiFoam® Cylinder Foam assists in preventing air infiltration and helps to reduce heating and cooling costs.  In addition, the HandiFoam® Polyurethane Foam Sealant helps to prevent moisture™ infiltration that happens through air leakage, therefore helping to reduce the possibility of water damage and mold problems.

HandiFoam® Cylinder Foam kits are designed utilizing a non-flammable blowing agent to assist in the safety of the end user.  HandiFoam® is committed to product stewardship and works hard to create products that contribute to healthier indoor environments.  Please see GREENGUARD® Certification for more information.

Installation Tips:

  • Temperature: Polyurethane sealant spray products are temperature sensitive.  You can spray this foam in colder outdoor temperatures, but the key is to keep the core temperature of the can within the proper range of 65-80°F.

  • Adjustable Flow: This kit comes with two application tips of different lengths. Using the longer tip will result in a slower flow rate.

  • Larger Voids: If sealing voids 3" or larger, moisten with a spray bottle before foaming.

  • Safety Considerations: Our Safety Kit includes a tyvek suit with hood, respirator, goggles, and 2 pairs of nitrile gloves.

  • Clean Up: You can clean up uncured foam with Handi-Cleaner.  Clean gun tip after every use.  Clean basket whenever changing cans.  Once foam is fully cured, you will have to remove it by mechanical means.

  • Optional Dispensing Tool: We sell an adaptor (pictured below) to connect this tank to any of our dispensing tools.  With this tool, you can fine tune and control the flow of foam down to a small bead.
