Description
The attic access door is, typically, one of the largest sources of air leakage in your house. Installation Tips
- Caulking: Apply a bead of caulk to the framing or decking prior to stapling the Attic Tent® flap down. The caulk helps to ensure a good air tight seal under the flap.
- Orientation: Locating the zipper opening closer to the attic stair hinge will allow for easier attic access.
- Larger Voids: Use single component foam sealants to seal larger gaps and voids in framing members.
